In East Africa north of Vic Falls, the accommodation is dormitory style. Sleeping bags and towels are required on accommodated tours in East Africa as not all facilities provide bedding. Some accommodation has shared bathroom facilities and you will be sharing with the other members of your group. East Africa is more challenging than the south. Facilities can be more limited but these trips offer more cultural interaction than those in Southern Africa.
