Africa Overland Tour Itinerary:
Day 1 / 2
Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls - Botswana - Kasane
Immediately on our first day we will visit the smoke that thunders, better known as the Victoria Falls. We also get the chance to experience the mighty sound of the Zambezi River before we head off to Kasane, Botswana. This place is located on the banks of the Chobe River. In the afternoon we will go on a river cruise for some wonderful viewing through the African landscape. If you want to participate on activities at the Zambezi River, such as White River Rafting, it might be better to arrive one of two days beforehand.
We continue our journey to Maun. When we arrived we get ready for a two- day trip to the Okavango Delta. This incredible Delta has no connections with the ocean; it is only connected to 15,000 square meters of sand from the Kalahari Desert. This is why it became the largest inland delta of the world.
We try to get the best out of nature during our time in the Delta. We have some hiking trips included and we keep mokoro, traditional canoeing, as option depending in the water level.
In the Delta we get to see wonderful wild animals that are not used to people; it is a truly life experience. You only have to sit and relax and you will spot some of the most wonderful birds and incredible creatures.
Our 4x4 vehicle makes it possible to get in to the Delta, only when the water level gets to high we will use boats. Some locals will help us to get to our bush camp where we will spend the next two nights.
Optional activities: Scenic flight over the Delta (time permitting). If you wish to participate in additional Mokoro rides or nature walks, apart from what is included in the activity package, please speak to your guide.

Day 6
Gweta
Our next accommodation will certainly special, it only will be a little quirky. While we have left the Delta we arrive to the Planet Baobob to spend our next night.
This morning we will travel towards Palapye, on the banks of the Lotsane River. Here we will visit Khama Rhino Sanctuary. This reserve is a community based wildlife project. Our game drive focuses on seeing one of the most endangered animal species of Africa, the Rhino.
After a long trip we will cross the boundary of South Africa and we will head to Johannesburg. This city is one of the capitals of the South Africa and also known as the city of gold. Jo’ burg has a lot to offer and that is why it is definitely worth it to visit!
