Hop-on, Hop-off buses to be launched in Johannesburg

According to the Gauteng Economic Development Department in January 2013 the world famous hop-on, hop-off buses will be launched in Johannesburg.
The buses which can already be found in 100 cities on six continents around the world, will make the city more tourist friendly by offering them a way to explorer the city in a safe and convenient way. The bus will offer commentary in 17 different languages.
“We are very excited about the new hop-on, hop-off buses, which are sure to become a premier tourism experience in Johannesburg, and in future we are looking at bringing the buses to Pretoria too,” said Dawn Roberston, CEO of the Gauteng Tourism Authority.
