“This is perhaps the funniest moment of my trip. We were on a safari at Chobe in Botswana. It was a lazy day in the park and there were a bunch of elephants roaming around and all of a sudden we see this “well hung” elephant march from across the field towards this other elephant. Little did we know that Mr. Elephant was trying to get his game on…. You’ll have to watch the video to find out if he succeeded.

We both had a fantastic trip – Loved our time in Cape Town and the Garden Route.
Really enjoyed our meal out at ‘Carne’ – thanks for the heads up.

Our overland tour with Nomad couldn’t have gone better.
The truck was very modern and comfortable with great game viewing windows, especially compared to others we saw on our journey.
We found the Nomad staff to be excellent, thank you for your recommendation; we have already been spreading your and their praise.

Your photo or story from the road might be the reason why a traveller decides to visit Africa, and in that way you contribute to job creation and the betterment of this unique and beautiful continent.

As they say, once the African dust gets under your skin it is hard to stay away; so spread the dust – the more African addicts, the better.

I just got back the other day from my 35 Day Nairobi to Cape Town camping trip.  Overall had a great time with ATC (Africa Travel Co) did a wonderful job.  My guide Mwangi, driver Steve and cook Franco were phenomenal (I gained 8 pounds partially from Franco’s cooking partially cause beer is the same price as water).

I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering doing one of these trips. I had a few near meltdowns when some of my loan payments had not gone through and when my air-mattress sprung a leak.  Mwangi did a great job calming me down and helping me out.  The camping got tiring at times and i can’t tell you  how glad I was to have a shower with hot water for as long as I wanted with with no spiders   Luckily we did occasionally have “upgrade” opportunities so i spent more nights than i expected in a bed (dorm for $6 more, yes please) and Yes I made it out of the DRC fine.

I did get to meet up with Reka and Josh as well in Victoria falls.  In fact there tour group and guide Andre kinda adopted me the last 3 days which was really nice of them.

We arrived back in London after what has been a fantastic trip, really great tour with Acacia!! We were really sad to have to come back, wanted to go all the way to Nairobi, some really great highlights along the way including Vic falls and Namibia was fantastic.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help you gave us in organising the trip!

I’m sure I will be in contact in the near future when I plan my next overland trip, maybe next year!

I’m back from my Namibian Adventure and just wanted to pass on my thanks for your help in assisting with my overland tour.

It was a fantastic tour, incredibly well organised, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would recommend Wild Dog Safaris over and over.  Thank you also for the extra transfer to the airport you had to organise as well, although I was sad to leave my group early everything went smoothly.

Thank you once again and I am going to start saving and planning my next African trip, so I may well be in touch again in the near future!
