Why book an Africa4us Tour?
Africa4Us offers Premium Quality Tours that offer small group safaris with a maximum of 12 travellers (accommodated tours) and 20 travellers on camping tours. They are passionate about Africa and have over 16 years of experience taking travellers to South and East Africa. There are two crew members per tour to help with setting up the campsites, cooking, daily camping duties and any other safari requirements. They pride themselves on Premium Overland Vehicles that are comfortable and luxurious when it comes to travelling in the harsh climate and unpredictable road conditions.
Africa4Us knows that the majority of time is spent in an overland truck and has, therefore, designed the most luxurious way of travel in their Premium Overland Safari Vehicles on accommodated trips. You will travel on luxury trucks with cushioned seats, plenty of leg room and a footrest needed for those long stretches on the road. You will have your own window seats that recline, as well as your own small compartment with a cup rest and a place for your own personal effects. Inside the compartment there are 2 USB charge ports as well as additional storage space, and a safe. The ultimate in this luxury has to be the air-conditioner (on accommodated trips). Africa gets very hot and there is often very little shade along the way, so the cool air is very welcome while you are travelling through the intense heat. There is also a dedicated fridge to keep your drinks cold all day.
The vehicles are very tough, safe and have passed stringent SABS ‘roll over’ tests with regular services and overhauls.

Enjoy peace of mind with experienced crew consisting of a Driver and Tour Guide. They share the duties of cooking setting up camp and taking you on safaris. The crew have a wealth of knowledge and experience acquired from life on the road in the African bush. They are always willing to share their knowledge with you and assist you along the safari. The guides are individually coached and mentored to constantly improve client feedback.
Africa4us Accommodation and Campsites
On the Camping Tours you will camp in the wild in two-man canvas dome tents (with built-in mosquito nests). The tents are easy to put up, and your guide will help you. Sleeping mats are provided, but you need to bring your own sleeping bag, pillow and a towel or two. There are basic amenities and some campsites have pools and bars (although it is suggested you take your own alcohol which you can purchase along the way).
On Accommodated Tours you enjoy a more comfortable experience by staying in bedded accommodation (twin and single rooms) within hostels, hotels, chalets, lodge-style bungalows, permanent tents and traditional African huts. You can expect 2-3 star accommodation with access to pools (at select properties) and bars at some of the venues.
Africa4us Food on Tour
On both camping and accommodated tours you can enjoy tasty meals with local organic ingredients that are purchased from local markets that support the communities – the guides often stop at a local market to stock up on fresh items. The breakfasts are fairly simple consisting of bread (or toast), spreads, cereals, fruit, rusks with occasional hot breakfasts such as eggs bacon or pancakes. Lunches include sandwiches with a variety of fillings and salads. Dinners such as curries, stews, pastas, braais and even roasts will be enjoyed around the campfire. The cooks do their utmost to ensure you are given a satisfying and appetising meal.
