3 Day Okavango Delta Excursion

The following will give you a little more insight about the Okavango Delta excursion valid on a selection of our Camping and Comfort tours (this does not apply to all tours).

3 Day (2 night) Okavango Delta Excursion – Comfort and Camping

Comfort Tours – travelling on Northbound Route (2x flight in and out of Delta):

The Comfort Okavango Delta Tour – departs Maun by scenic flight on a small fixed wing aircraft (similar to a Cessna) flying you over the Okavango Delta into your Camp for a 2 night stay at the beautiful Mopiri Camp or Nguma Lagoon (Accommodation is subject to change due to availability) . Once at your camp you’ll check into lovely spacious permanent safari tents (including proper beds, all bedding and en-suite bathrooms) before doing your first afternoon activity (either sunset mokoro ride or boat trip).

The next morning starts with tea and coffee before sunrise, followed by a morning guided bush walk. The comfort excursion is one of the most popular as you get to experience the Okavango Delta from both the air (on your fight in and out of the Okavango Delta) and on the ground with your mokoro and guided walks.

We depart the Delta on the 3rd day by scenic flight (second flight) on a small fixed wing aircraft (similar to a Cessna – approx. 45 min from take-off to landing) flying you over the Okavango Delta returning to Maun by mid-afternoon.
