Today we leave early and travel north to Marangu, set below the flourishing slopes of the remarkable Usambara and Pare Mountains, located in the Eastern Arc Mountain Range. “Marangu” means “full of water” and  and the green surroundings indicates the truth of this name. If the sky is clear today we may be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the stunning snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain of 5898m.
