Chobe National Park –Savuti Areas, Botswana

We are able to travel deep into the southwest corner of the Chobe National Park today by means of a 4X4 wheel drive only. From there, we head to the Savuti Marsh which is a relic of a massive inland lake, fed from time to time by the Savuti Channel. This area is comprised of undulating  savannah which attracts a wide variety of antelope species, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and elephant. In turn, these attract a range of predators, including lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and cheetah. This is an incredible game viewing day and camping in the wild only serves to enhance your experience when you this close to the true wilderness of nature.

Typically this comprises of a 2 hour drive in the morning after leaving camp, followed by a 4-5 hour transfer to the Savuti area, and a further 2-3 hour game drive.
