Chobe National Park –Savuti Areas, Botswana
We are able to travel deep into the southwest corner of the Chobe National Park today by means of a 4X4 wheel drive only. From there, we head to the Savuti Marsh which is a relic of a massive inland lake, fed from time to time by the Savuti Channel. This area is comprised of undulating savannah which attracts a wide variety of antelope species, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and elephant. In turn, these attract a range of predators, including lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog and cheetah.
