Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve,Kenya
In the morning, we depart from the vibrant city of Nairobi to begin the climb up to our first stop, a viewpoint overlooking a portion of the extraordinary Great Rift Valley. As we head down into the Rift Valley we enter Masai territory, where these farmers are frequently spotted tending to their livestock on the roadsides. Passing through the town of Narok, to the west of Nairobi, we continue our travels, possibly catching a glimpse of some gorgeous wildlife along the way. When we finally arrive at the park gate, we make a turn just before the Reserve Entrance to park at our camp where we will have time to rest up before heading out on our first game drive through the Park, and eventually make our way back to camp in the evening for supper and a good night’s sleep.
