Iringa – Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Today we depart for Dar Es Salaam, a city that began as a fishing village before becoming a port and trading hub. It will be a long driving day of about 10 hours excluding border formalities. Dar Es Salaam, or ‘Abode of Peace’ in Arabic, is Tanzania’s biggest city, with a population of more than 2.5 million. It is also the country’s wealthiest city, and a significant economic hub.
