Serowe – Maun, Botswana
Our tour takes us to Maun today where you can go on an optional scenic flight (120USD).
Maun is a diverse combination of contemporary structures and native huts. Main is known as Botswana’s tourism capital, as well as the administrative hub of the Ngamiland district. Maun has grown dramatically from a rural town and has extended along the Thamalakane River. It still maintains its rural atmosphere as the local folk keep bringing their cattle to Maun in order to sell. This community is now dispersed along the broad Thamalakane Riverbanks, where red lechwe can be spotted grazing next to donkeys, goats and cattle.
