Caprivi, Namibia to Okavango Delta, Botswana
We wake up early so that we can enjoy an early morning game drive in the Greater Bwabwata National Park which begins its journey from the Kavango River in the west and joins up with the Kwando River in the east which includes the Mahangu Game Reserve. There is a variety of wildlife here including elephant, roan, kudu and buffalo.
It is then on to Botswana and Etsha 13 on the western border of the Delta which flows into the Kalahari Desert, not reaching the coast. The following day we explore a network of water channels on a traditional dugout canoe where we can enjoy the view of the wildlife and birds. We will also stop at a secluded island for a one and a half hour walk to spot more animals.
