Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Our journey today takes us across the border into Zimbabwe and onto our lodge in a private concession close to the Hwange National Park, where we will spend the next three nights.

If time permits, you can take part in an optional game drive this afternoon. On game drives the following two days, we will have ample opportunity to explore this vast wilderness.

One of Africa’s most renowned wildlife refuges is Hwange National Park, which is home to large herds of elephants, buffalo, and zebra, as well as a large population of giraffes.

Several predators and endangered species live here, as well as a variety of birdlife. In addition, we will pay a visit to the Painted Dog Conservation Centre to see how this endangered species is protected.

You can interact with the anti-poaching unit while you are there. These conservation warriors will share their motivations and answer any questions guests may have.
