Johannesburg – Greater Kruger National Park

We begin our trip with an early morning start, making our way out of the ‘Big Smoke’, managing to dodge the heavy peak hour traffic. We travel north east, toward the picturesque Mpumalanga province. We stop a while to marvel at the incredible highlights seen on the Panoramic Route. Our first stop is at God’s Window, which is an amazing viewpoint that allows us viewing access to the stunning Blyde River Canyon. We roam across this historical region , being sure to pay a visit to the beautiful Lisbon Falls, the fascinating rock formations of Bourke’s Luck Potholes, and the colossal Three Rondaval’s. Every single one of these landmarks makes for absolutely wonderful photographic opportunities.

Upon arrival at our rustic residence for the evening, situated on the outskirts of the famous Kruger National Park, we prepare for our outing into the park that will take place the next morning. Be aware that you will more than likely encounter some lovely wildlife right on your doorstep due to the location of the accommodation (based in the Guernsey private game reserve with no fences dividing the park and surrounding wildlife regions, where animals are free to wander).
