Kruger National Park

Following a tasty breakfast served in the morning, we make our way through the Orpen Gate, prepared to do some intricate exploration of the fantastic Kruger National Park. Armed with cameras and binoculars, our morning and afternoon is spent snaking our way along beaten paths and marked routes, coming across a variety of indigenous species along the way. The scorching sun during the afternoon keeps us at one the Park’s rest camps that offer various facilities for game spotters, including restaurants, souvenir shops and swimming pools. The Kruger National Park boasts more than 2 million hectares of diverse ecosystems that are comprised of a marvellous assortment of wildlife. Here, we hope to seek out as much wildlife as possible, including the famous ‘Big 5’ of Africa (elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo and lion). Upon our return to our private lodge in the early evening, we have the opportunity to partake in a thrilling night drive that takes place on a private reserve or within the National Park. Following a delicious dinner, we spend our night swapping stories and experiences whilst gathered around a warm and inviting glowing campfire.
