Mbeya Region – Lake Malawi, Tanzania

In the afternoon we visit a coffee plantation where we will have the opportunity to see how the plant is grown and harvested beans, as well as sample some.

The following day we leave Tanzania behind and cross the border into Malawi as we descend the Great Rift Valley. It is known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” because of its beautiful lakeside location. We will spend the night on the shores of Lake Malawi, where we look forward to exploring the attractions of the north of the lake.  The crystal clear waters of the crystal clear ocean offer the opportunity to observe first-hand the brightly colored tropical cichlids that are often found in colourful aquariums throughout the world.
