Sossusvlei Dunes – Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia
As we rise early today, we will travel to the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Upon entering the park after sunrise, we will travel through to the famed Dune 45. Taking a brisk hike up Dune 45 will allow us to marvel at the changing colors of the desert from a vantage point high above. After descending this famous dune, we will enjoy a hearty breakfast before catching a 4×4 transfer to Sossusvlei, where we will visit the Deadvlei and Sossusvlei pans on foot. We will camp on the edges of the dune fields tonight, removing red sand from our shoes, and listening to the distinct calls of the Barking Gecko as we fall asleep.
