Giants Playground/Quiver Tree Forest and Fish River Canyon, South Africa

Our travels continue with a visit the Quiver Tree Forest to view these majestic plants and the Giants Playground, named for the way the huge dolerite boulders are placed on each other creating unique rock formations and a series of mazes. We climb aboard an overland vehicle and make our way south to Ais-Ais which is famous for it’s hot water springs where you can enjoy a swim under the desert stars and ease away the dust of the Namib. In the afternoon we visit one of the largest canyons in the world, the Fish River Canyon, we walk along the canyon to watch the incredible sunset.
