Masai Mara National Reserve

Prepare for a long drive today (6-7 hours) as we head southwest to the Masai Mara, one of the unsurpassed game reserves in Africa with its rich wildlife. Our trip will take us across the Great Rift Valley which is a geographic trench approximately 6 000 km long. We will see the homes of the traditional Masai people who live in the hills of Loita. We will enjoy a cultural activity as you meet this colourful tribe who wear vibrant red clothing and eye-catching jewellery. You will gain an understanding of their East African traditional ways. Our Masai host, a local elder, will tell us about the way they still maintain cultural traditions. The Masai will take you into their homes and tell you about how they farm cattle. Then we hop into 4×4 jeeps and take a short game drive on the way to the camp. Mara Leisure camp is situated in a prime wildlife area along the Talek River that runs along the boundary of the Masai Mara Reserve. Upon your arrival you can enjoy the many amenities such as a swimming pool, gift shop, bar and restaurant.
