Okavango Delta, Botswana
We are travelling to the Okavando Delta today which will take approximately 6 hours. Then we will board a speed boat that will take us to a houseboat in the middle of the delta where you will stay for two nights. Please pack lightly for this excursion as there won’t be much space for everyone’s luggage. On the boat there are twin cabins, bedding, towels and mosquito nets. There are no single supplements on the houseboat. For your convenience you can enjoy a dining area on the deck, tea and coffee making facilities, books to read and a variety of board games which are great to get to know your fellow passengers with. You can enjoy sundowners on the deck before the captain serves you dinner. The houseboat is a unique way of seeing the beautiful sights that surrounds you and listen to the sounds of hippos breaching and grunting and the high pitch sounds of the cicadas.
