Abseiling

Abseiling is a fantastic adventure activity that only needs a few seconds of guts just before you step off the mountain. From then on it’s free sailing…

Your descent is controlled as you are attached to a rope with a harness and sail down a rock face using a rappel device that is a friction hitch. You can control your speed as you descend the mountain. Some skill is required and various safety precautions need to be adhered to, but you will be in good hands with experienced guides. Safety equipment such as helmets, gloves and knee pads are provided.

The advantage of this activity is the fantastic uninterrupted views and the feeling of being one with nature, not to mention the fact that it will get your heart racing. It is a fun and safe way to descend the mountain as you are attached to ropes and not just climbing down a sheer rock face.
