Travellers will only be able to enter Mozambique if they come from countries where there is no Mozambican consular representation. This is due to the problems of illegal immigrants; the Mozambique government is becoming stricter on Visa applications.

Those travellers who come from countries with a Mozambique consulate are asked to apply for a visa before travelling. If you do not have your visa before entering the country, you will be turned back at the border, or possibly even before that by the airline you are flying with.
