Day 1 : Nairobi – Tsavo West National Park, Kenya
The tour begins at 07h00 this morning and we make our way to the West National Park. The park offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions such as elephant, rhino, hippos, crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalo, diverse plants and bird species. We visit the Chyulu Hills and the Mzima Spirngs where you see the haunts of the hippo and crocodile from an underwater observation chamber.
The park can be visited all year round. The Mzima Springs is the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rocks, forming the most welcoming and lovely scene in Africa.

Day 2: Tsavo West National Park, Kenya
Prepare yourself as you embark on two scheduled game drives today, in search of the pride of lions, buffaloes, cheetah, giraffe, zebra, hippos and wildebeests.
Tsavi West National Park is located on the Coast Province of Kenya covering about 9000 sq km. A popular destination for its magnificent scenery, Mzima Springs, rich variety of wildlife, rhino reserve rock climbing potential and the Tsavo River.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Begin the morning with a game drive out of the park as we proceed to the second largest park in Kenya, Amboseli National Park. Keep an eye out for the magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro as we proceed into the park. Amboseli National Park has a spectacular backdrop of Mount Kili as you enter the area.

Day 4 : Amboseli National Park, Kenya
The entire day is spent on a game drive in the Amboseli National Park. A great opportunity presents itself to photograph the animals in the park with the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. One of the most popular sanctuaries in Kenya, the park is situated close to Kenta-Tanzania border as the base of Mount Kili. The park is a home to a variety of animals but known to be the “the home of the elephants”. Large herds of elephants reside in the park along with zebra’s, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalo, hippos and antelope.

Day 5: Amboseli – Mount Kenya (Sweetwaters), Kenya
Waking early this morning we travel to Mt Kenya, the second largest mountain in Africa at 5199m. In the afternoon we take a game drive in Sweetwater’s Game Ranch where you experience the rehabilitated chimpanzees in the wild.
Sweetwater’s game ranch is the only sanctuary for chimpanzees that have been abused and an area for black rhino breeding. Accommodation this evening will be at a lodge in Kenya.

Day 6: Mount Kenya – Samburu Game Reserve, Kenya
Leaving Mount Kenya behind us this morning, we depart after breakfast and view game as we travel towards the next game reserve on route. Stopping at the lodge for lunch, we climb back onto the safari vehicles where we will embark on a game drive in search of rare species in the county like the reticulated giraffe, grevy’s zebra, beisa oryx and the blue-necked somali ostrich. There are over 360 animal species in the area.

Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve, Kenya
Spend the day exploring the Samburu Game Reserve. Taking in the picturesque beauty of the rivers and forests inside the reserve. The heritage of the people staying here are rich and colourful. With a number of permanent springs and rich wildlife including the hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, zebra and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyira river. The reserve is also a sanctuary for over 365 bird species.

Day 8 : Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park, Kenya
Leaving behind the beautiful Samburu today, we start the day with a delicious breakfast and make our way to Lake Nakuru National Park. Another opportunity presents itself to view more game as we make our way out of the park. Lunch can be enjoyed on our way to the Lodge.
Lake Nakuru is a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos to feed. It is a distance of approximately 160 km from Nairobi. The water level affects the algae which is what the birds feed on and when the water is low it attracts more of them. The park also protects the rhino with this area being one of the largest concentrations in the country.

Day 9 : Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara, Kenya
Today we travel south to the beautiful savannah and plains of the Rift Valley and reach our base camp site. We spend the evening out in the bush under the beautiful African Sky. We view game as we make our way to the campsite for the evening.

Day 10-11: Masai Mara national Reserve, Kenya
The following two days will be spent exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. Experience the open grasslands and variety of wildlife and the breathtaking annual migration of the wildebeest and antelope as a highlight of any visit to Africa from July to October.
The Masai Mara Game is one of Kenya’s most popular game sanctuaries and hosts the spectacular annual migration of the millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle from the Serengeti plains across the Tanzania border and the Mara River. The animals who cross over the rivers and landscape can be seen from the beginning of July to August. The park is home to about 452 different species. For those wanting to participate in additional activities, hot air ballooning is made available in the park.

Day 12 : Mara – Nairobi, Kenya
Your tour comes to an end today. One last game drive in the reserve before travelling back to Nairobi where you are due to arrive at 14h00.
