Day 1: Kasane, Botswana

Our tour officially starts in Kasane, Botswana at around 13h00. We can organise transfers from Victoria Falls or Livingstone. When we reach Kasane, you will be given a full briefing by your guide. The first ‘wow factor’ of this tour will be a beautiful sunset cruise down the incredible Chobe River. We spend the night at a campsite in Kasane.

Accommodation: Public campsite, permanent ablutions

Day 2-3: Nxai Pan National Park, Botswana

We awake early today and travel south to Nxai Pan National Park home to lions, giraffe, springbok, kudu and the rare bat-eared fox. This is undoubtedly an area that provides for fantastic game viewing within the grasslands. The pan itself is a fossil lake bed and is one of the Makgadikgadi salt pans. During the ‘green season’ expect to see raptors and the Northern Black Korhaan which frequent this area. During your time here you will have the opportunity of seeing the Baines Baobab trees which are sought out by travellers from all over the world.

We will stop on the way for a picnic lunch and then embark on a game drive through the park in the afternoon before reaching our campsite. The following day will be spent exploring the incredible Nxai Pan and admiring the plains that are frequently peppered with grazing impala and springbok herds. At midday you will pay a visit to the amazing Baines Baobabs. These magnificent trees are located on the edge of a vast saltpan. We spend our evening camping.
