Day 1
Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe
When you reach Victoria Falls you will be transported to your lodge where you will have the day free to spend however you like. In the evening you will be introduced to your guides as well as your fellow travellers during the pre-departure meeting.

Day 2 - 3
Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park – Botswana
We awake early for a guided tour of the majestic Victoria Falls, referred to by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi oa Tunya, or ‘the smoke that thunders’. We then leave Victoria Falls and head to Botswana for the next two nights. You can relax for the rest of the day or choose an optional activity.
Rising early the following day for a morning game drive in the Chobe National Park. The second biggest National Park in Botswana, Chobe extends over 10,566 square kilometres and contains one of the biggest elephant populations in all of Africa. This afternoon we embark on an unforgettable cruise down the Chobe River, a perfect way to view wildlife and the African sunset.

Day 4
Caprivi Strip, Namibia
Departing from Botswana, we journey through the Chobe National Park before making our way into Namibia and travelling through Caprivi to our camp situated on the Kwando Riverbanks. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day to relax or enjoy one of the optional activities available to you.

Day 5 - 6
Caprivi to Okavango Delta, Botswana
We depart from our camp at Caprivi for Etsha 13, located on the Okavango Delta’s western border. Different to other deltas, the Okavango runs into the Kalahari Desert never reaching the coast, making it extremely unique as the world’s biggest inland delta. We head off on a game drive to the Mahangu National Park in our safari vehicle. Look out for sable, roan, elephants, hippos and buffalos. Over 420 different bird species also reside here.
The following day is spent navigating our way through narrow water channels and dense plant life by means of mokoros (traditional dug-out canoes). During this outing you will spot a range of different birds and animals. En route, we will make a stop at a remote island for a guided walk, during which we will seek out elephants, waterbuck and other wild animals that have made this paradise their home.

Day 7
Kavango River – Namibia
We head to Kaisosi River Lodge where we spend our afternoon unwinding on the Kavango Riverbanks. Here there will be many optional activities available in which to partake, including a visit to a traditional cultural school and sunset cruises. Otherwise, feel free to put your feet up by the pool and enjoy a sundowner whilst basking in the beautiful sounds of nature.

Day 8 - 10
Etosha National Park – Namibia
This morning we make our way to Etosha National Park where we spend the following three days game driving, seeking out Africa’s Big Five as well as other game such as cheetah, giraffe, zebra and many different kinds of antelope that have made this Park their home. Our evenings will be spent at the floodlit waterholes where we will catch glimpses of the Park’s diverse animal collection that wander down for an evening drink. Established as a National Park in 1907, Etosha Game Park boasts around 114 mammals, 340 bird species, 110 reptiles, 16 amphibian species and one single species of fish.

Day 11
Kamanjab – Himba Experience – Namibia
We say our goodbyes to the beautiful wildlife of Etosha today and make our way to the incredibly stunning Damaraland. Depending on the time that we reach the town, we will visit a traditional Himba Village in the afternoon or following morning. This will be an adventure of cultural exchanges as well as learning and understanding the last remaining tribe in Namibia, the Ova-Himba.

Day 12
Omaruru, Namibia
Our travels today will take us to the Omaruru mission statement which has great historical significance and is now a popular place for artists to craft their wares. We will also visit a local distillery and wine cellar where you can enjoy some great home-grown produce. We will then get back on the road to reach our accommodation in the afternoon.

Day 13 - 14
Spitzkoppe and Swakopmund – Namibia
We travel west today, making our way towards the desert plains, Spitzkoppe. We explore the magnificent bushman paintings and engravings before heading to the coast. The following day you will have the chance to participate in a couple of incredible optional activities. Otherwise, simply take this time to bask in the brilliant atmosphere of this charming town and soak in its splendour and sun-kissed beaches.

Day 15 - 16
Namib Naukluft National Park and Sossusvlei, Namibia
Today is spent travelling through the Namib-Naukluft National Park en route to Sossusvlei. The Namib-Naukluft Desert is an ancient area with an ageless spirit. It boasts some of the most uncommon plant and wildlife in the world. The animals of this environment include the Oryx, Springbok and Hartmann’s Mountain Zebra.
The following morning we rise at the crack of dawn to navigate our way to the world’s highest dunes at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. These incredible dunes that sometimes reach over 300 metres, are positively incredible and make for amazing photographic opportunities. If luck is on our side, there might be some water in the vlei (lake). We also make a stop to view the gorgeous Sesriem Canyon, which was formed millions of years ago by the Tsauchab River.

Day 17
Fish River Canyon, Namibia
Prepare for a day on the road as we travel south to our accommodation close to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest on earth. Later on in the evening you will be able to witness another incredible African sunset and view the scenery along the edge of the canyon.

Day 18 - 19
The Orange River – Namibia
We depart in the morning to make our way to our camp, situated on the Orange (Gariep) Riverbanks, the natural divider between South Africa and Namibia. We stop at Ai-Ais which houses thermal water that is rich in sulphates and flourides. In the language of Nama Ais-Ais means ‘burning water’. The following day we only journey by means of a canoe. Spend some time unwinding as you are carried along the sparkling Orange River by the currents.

Day 20
Orange River to The Cedarberg – South Africa
We head down the coast once crossing over the border into South Africa. In springtime a panoramic view of wildflowers will catch your eye in the famous Namaqualand region. Later that afternoon we arrive in Clanwilliam, a very old town, nestled at the foot of the Cedarburg mountains.

Day 21
Cedarberg Mountains – Cape Town – South Africa
Today we drive through the mountains to our last destination of the tour, the Mother City of Cape Town. We enjoy a local favourite of Rooibos tea tasting en route. We stop off at the beach on the Atlantic Ocean to have a look at the iconic Table Mountain from across the Bay.

Reaching the beautiful city of Cape Town you will be taken up the cable car to the infamous Table Mountain which offers incredible views. Then we will return to the city and walk around the Company Garden, Greenmarket Square where you can purchase curious, the SA museum,and the colourful Cape Malay Quarter. We visit a local wine farm where we enjoy wine tasting and lunch. You can also visit the V&A Waterfront situated by the harbour where you can shop till you drop.

Day 23
Cape Town, South Africa
We will travel along the scenic Atlantic Seaboard via Clifton and Camps Bay which are popular seaside beaches. We will stop at Maiden Cove which is a look-out point and then continue you on to Hout Bay. There are lots of seals here and you can take an optional boat trip to Seal Island (seasonal). We travel further along Chapman’s Peak which is one of Cape Town’s most beautiful scenic trips and head to Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve. In the afternoon we will visit the charming Simon’s Town which is the naval base for Cape Town and then visit the large penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach.
