Day 1: Arrival Nairobi, Kenya
Your journey begins once you’ve been collected at the airport and transferred to the hotel for the evening.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park, Kenya
We leave Nairobi at 08h00 this morning and make our way to the Amboseli National Park where we will enjoy lunch. After lunch we embark on a game drive through the magnificent park at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park, Kenya
Spend the entire day on game drives exploring the park. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya situated closed to Kenya on the Tanzanian border. On clear days you can get spectacular views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Keep an eye out for the large elephant herds, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, buffalos, hippos and antelopes, cheetahs and rhinos to name a few.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania
We start the day with breakfast before heading into Tanzania via the Namanga border. Making our way through Arusha we enjoy lunch before proceeding to Lake Manyara National Park. It is a shallow alkaline lake with a beautiful and serene setting attracting a variety of rich bird life, especially flamingos at certain times of the year. The unusual tree climbing lions and hippos also frequent the area. The landscape is made up of savannah, marshes, acacia woodland which attracts a wide variety of wildlife.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
This morning we embark on another game drive in the park before making our way to Serengeti National Park where we game drive through before making our way to the lodge for the night. Packed lunches will be provided.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
We spend the day exploring the Serengeti National Park. There will be plenty of wildlife to see as we make our way through the park. We also make our way to the northern part of the park known as Seronera where you have the opportunity of seeing the annual wildebeest migration.
Famous for its annual migration of over 2 million wildebeest and a variety of other species including zebra, gazelles, impala, oryx, waterbuck, giraffe and many more. The Serengeti is one of the largest and most popular parks in Tanzania. Also offering rewarding bird watching with ostrich, variety of larks and raptors can be seen with the most distinctive bird being the lilac breasted roller. Lions, leopards, cheetah, jackals and bat-eared foxes are always on the prowl.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater via Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before making your way to the Ngorongoro Crater through the historical Olduvai Gorge. Packed lunches will be provided. The Gorge cuts through layers of rocks from over 2 million years ago. Fossil footprints over 3 million years old have been found here and are the most ancient discovered yet. Pay a visit to an excellent museum where you have the opportunity of exploring the diggings with your own guide.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
Enjoy breakfast on your own time this morning before we make our way to the crater for a full day safari. Spend the evening at the rim of the crater where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Most commonly known as ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World‘ this crater is one of the main attractions in Tanzania. The Ngorongoro Crater was formed over 2 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking from inactivity. The volcano used to be higher then Mount Kilimanjaro. It is home to over 30 000 animals and a vast amount of birds who flock here for the constant water supply.

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Arusha, Tanzania
Enjoy your last breakfast before making your way to the town of Arusha where your tour will come to an end. The shuttle bus for Nairobi departs at 14h00 in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at the airport in time to board your flight back home.
