Make your way to the entrance of the park where you will meet up with your guide and start your journey on foot. Experience the beautiful trees, reptiles, different species of birds, butterflies and many other animals on your hike. The park is home to twelve species of primates  as well as one of the most dangerous primates in Africa. An unforgettable experience on the hike is a 150m high waterfall called the Sanje waterfall and you have the opportunity of swimming in this magical wonder. You return to the Stanley’s Kopje camp after your hike.

Day 4: Mikumi National Park – Ruaha Valley

Today you travel to Iringa passing through the picturesque valley of Great Ruaha River. After travelling 40km into Iringa you reach your destination for the night – Kisolanza Farm Guesthouse. Enjoy more game driving in the Ruaha National Park today. The name was derived from the Great Ruaha River, which flows along its south eastern margin and is the focus for game-viewing. Throughout the dry season animals gather around the water sources of the park and during the wet season it is more suitable for bird watching and flowers. Travel back to the Tandala Tented Camp site after a full day of game viewing.
