Itinerary

Day 1: Maun, Botswana

Upon your arrival in the early afternoon your guide will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. You can spend your afternoon at leisure. Dinner will be for your own account at the Cresta Hotel in Maun.

Day 2 – 4: Khwai Area of Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Botswana

Once we have finished our breakfast our 4X4 safari vehicle will take us to the Khwai area of Moremi. A spectacular wilderness with green vegetation, birdlife that live in the palm trees and plenty of wild animals. Our guides will take you on an early morning and late afternoon sunset drives. The campsite is on a private reserve in the park. You will be using bush toilets and bucket showers, keeping with nature.

Day 5 – 6: Savute

We will be leaving Moremi and head to the Chobe National Park where we will camp in the wildlife area of Savute where many animals roam. This is the western area of the park. The Savute Marsh forms a large inland lake where water dried up by tectonic movements. These days the marsh gets water again from the tectonic activity in the area. We will go on morning and afternoon game drives to view the many wildlife in the area. You will experience the sound of the animals. Dinner will be held around the campfire and there will be bush toilets and bucket showers.

Day 7: Chobe National Park

We will disassemble our camp and continue through the park on another game drive. This camp site also has bush toilets and bucket showers.

Day 8: Chobe River – Kasane

As we depart early we will head to our lodge on the banks of the Chobe River. Enjoy the beauty that surrounds you and the plentiful wildlife and a sunset cruise!

Accommodation: Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge (or similar)

Day 9: Kasane

Our wonderful wildlife-filled tour ends after breakfast.

Please note: There is however, a Victoria Falls extension from Days 9-10.

Crossing the Zimbabwe border we will view the Victoria Falls – a famous Natural Wonder of the World. There is plenty to do here from browsing the markets, taking helicopter rides, water rafting and bungee jumping to name but a few. We will spend the night at the VFA Rainbow Hotel or A’zambezi River.
