Day 1

Victoria Falls – Zimbabwe

After your arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be taken to your lodge. The time left in the afternoon can be spent on multiple activities available at Victoria Falls, such as wild white river rafting, bungee jump off a bridge that is 111 metres high or just soaking in the arts and culture of this area. You will then meet your guide and the rest of your group at the lodge at 18h00 for your pre-departure meeting.

Day 2

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Today you are free to explore Victoria Falls in your own time. In the afternoon we will go on a lovely sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, enjoying the last rays on your face.

Day 3

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe to Caprivi, Namibia

Once we have had an early breakfast we will cross the Kazungula border into Namibia and drive through the Caprivi Strip. Our campsite will be on the banks of the Kwando River which is green and lush with vegetation that attracts loads of wildlife. We will arrive in the late afternoon for a glorious sunset from across the river and the chance to possibly see crocodiles and hippos.

Day 4 & 5

Caprivi, Namibia to Okavango Delta, Botswana

We wake up early so that we can enjoy an early morning game drive in the Greater Bwabwata National Park which begins its journey from the Kavango River in the west and joins up with the Kwando River in the east which includes the Mahangu Game Reserve. There is a variety of wildlife here including elephant, roan, kudu and buffalo.

It is then on to Botswana and Etsha 13 on the western border of the Delta which flows into the Kalahari Desert, not reaching the coast. The following day we explore a network of water channels on a traditional dugout canoe where we can enjoy the view of the wildlife and birds. We will also stop at a secluded island for a one and a half hour walk to spot more animals.

Day 6

Greater Moremi Area, Botswana

Today we travel via Maun to our camp which is situated in a private concession in the Greater Moremi area. This large area is renowned for its concentration of mammals and it is not unusual to see many different types of wildlife during just one game drive.Here there is more wildlife to view from your 4×4 vehicle. The type of game you will see is dependent on the season; Spring (Aug to Nov) is when you will spot the best game. We may follow the animal migration which could lead to extra driving time.

Distance: 420 km Departure:
Accommodation: Bedouin Bush Camp or similar (semi-permanent tented camp with en-suite bathrooms). Please note that there is no electricity at the camp.

This mobile bush camp is located on a private concession in close proximity to the Moremi Game Reserve, a 2 hour drive from Maun. There are 12 comfortable tents positioned under big Acacia trees giving you a wonderful wildlife bush experience. The camp is also equipped with a homely and communal dining and bar area.

The tents are covered with Bedouin-style fly-sheets, offering guests protection from Botswana’s weather conditions and fashioning the camp with a distinctive nomadic appearance & atmosphere. The safari tent are equipped with twin beds, soft pillows and duvets. Doors and windows are fitted with mosquito screening and insect repellent is provided.

To limit the camp’s impact on the environment yet still afford the necessary comfort in the bush, the en-suite bathrooms are equipped with flush toilets and hot bucket showers. Please note that the camp is solar powered, and cameras and mobile phones can be charged in the communal areas should the power levels allow it.

At night the paths to your tents will be illuminated by lanterns and your guide will walk you back to your tent from the dining and bar area.

Day 7

Khwai River – Botswana

Our day will be spent on game drives in our open 4×4 vehicles exploring the Khwai River region in the morning and the afternoon. A night game drive is also included and is very exciting as you get to see the nocturnal life of these animals.

Day 8

Greater Moremi Game Reserve – Botswana

Today we explore the Greater Moremi Game Reserve, known as one of the most wonderful reserves due to its large variety of African game and remarkable concentration of wildlife. The entire day will be spent in the unexplored landscapes of the Moremi Game Reserve. After dinner we head out on a night game drive.

Day 9

Moremi Game Reserve to Nata, Botswana

We travel east today to the dry Makgadikgadi Pans which was once a river bed. There is a multitude of salt pans and grass plains interspersed with palm islands that form the great Makgadikgadi Pans that cover 37 000 kms. We will reach the lodge in the late afternoon.

Day 10 & 11

Nata to Chobe, Botswana

Our first stop is the Nata Bird Sanctuary  where you can take in magnificent views over the Sowa pan which forms part of the Greater Makgadikgadi Pans (which we can only visit if the road conditions are good). Once we have had breakfast we will drive to Kasane in the north and Chobe National Park which is the second largest National Park in Botswana at 10 566 square kms. Here you will find a plethora of elephants. In the afternoon you can choose to relax by the pool or take part in one of the optional activities.

On day 11 we will head off early for a game drive in Chobe National Park after which we will return to the lodge for a late breakfast. In the afternoon we will go on a relaxing boat cruise along the Chobe River.

Chobe to Hwange, Zimbabwe

The next three nights will be spent in a private concession near Hwange National Park. The first afternoon will be spent on an optional game drive. The following two days will be included game drives where we will explore the area looking for birdlife and herds of wildlife from predators to prey. We will also visit the Painted Dog Conservation Centre where caring people have rescued these endangered animals.

Our adventurous tour ends today after breakfast and you will be transferred to Victoria Falls Airport.

Frequently Asked Questions


Fully equipped 4x4 Toyota Land Cruises are used that seat 12 people. The windows are large which is perfect for game viewing and the vehicle are air-conditioned. All excess luggage is carried on the roof racks to ensure comfort in the vehicle.

Travelling Times and Distances

Travelling times vary due to road conditions, border crossings, detours and weather conditions. Travelling on the roads is far different to travelling in your home country so sit back and enjoy the scenery.


The accommodation is middle of the range African standard lodges. Some of these are in National Parks, on the banks of the river, or other places of interest. You will stay in a mix of lodges, chalets and tented camps. You can enjoy en-suites and the facilities in the accommodation such as the pool and bar areas.


Most breakfasts and dinners are included on the tour and can be enjoyed in the restaurants. On some nights the guide will prepare traditional African food. Please advise us beforehand regarding special dietary requirements.
