Kiboko Vehicles
The vehicles are custom-built for the rugged terrain of Africa which are safe and serviced on a regular basis. Together with the knowledge and expertise of the staff these are ideal trucks to travel in. The vehicles are bought new and then built to the specifications of their professional body builders. The interior is attractive with wooden panels giving it a safari look and feel. Large custom slide-down windows allow for optimal game viewing and fresh air. The passenger cabin is open to the driver so he can keep in touch with you and let you know what to look out for. There is a fully-equipped kitchen on and a fridge to keep your drinks cold.
Kiboko Accommodation
Kiboko offer camping and luxury lodge safaris for you to choose from. Stay in comfortable 3-4 star lodges that have private en-suite facilities and other amenities like swimming pools and bars that you can make use of. Two-man dome tents will allow you to sleep in relative comfort and shelter in the bush.
Kiboko Crew
Their guides are very knowledgeable and versatile knowing all there is about travelling in Africa as well as the fauna and flora. You will have a driver, a cook who will help preparing meals and a guide who will assist you in setting up camp and any other safari requirements. There are also designated guides for specific areas who know the area and can answer all your questions. The guides cover Botswana, Namibia and Kruger to Victoria Falls and are FGASA trained and qualified.
On camping tours the food is prepared by the cook with your assistance. There is something special about eating surrounded by nature away from the distraction of technology. There is a fully-equipped kitchen on the truck where most of your meals are prepared if you are on a camping safari. The cook will prepare the meals, but you are asked to help where you can.
Kiboko Food on Tour
You can enjoy tasty food made from local organic ingredients that are purchased from the communities. The breakfasts are fairly simple consisting of bread (or toast), spreads, cereals, fruit, rusks with occasional hot breakfasts such as eggs bacon or pancakes. Lunches include sandwiches with a variety of fillings and salads. Dinners such as curries, stews, pastas, braais and even roasts will be enjoyed around the campfire.
