Day 1: Windhoek – Namib Desert, Namibia
To commence your 10-day tour of Namibia, you will be warmly welcomed by a friendly guide either at your hotel or at the Windhoek airport in the morning. After being informed about your safari travel plans, you will embark on your adventure. As you depart from Namibia’s capital, you will traverse the numerous hills of the Khomas area. If time allows it, you can embark on a scenic drive along one of the exquisite mountain passes that will lead you to the captivating Namib-Naukluft region. During your journey, you will have the chance to visit the settlement of Solitaire. Here, you can choose to indulge in their renowned apple pie (optional) before continuing to your accommodation for the next two nights, the Elegant Desert Camp. In the afternoon, you may also opt to join the lodge’s sundowner drive for a unique experience followed by a dinner that can be savored under the awe-inspiring night sky.

Day 2: Namib Desert
The oldest desert in the world, The Nami desert, will reveal to you to the enchanting morning light there is and this will be an experience that will leave an indelible mark on your memory. At The Namib-Naukluft Park, your guide will escort you to a secluded dune where you can appreciate the breathtaking morning illumination. Following a delightful picnic breakfast, you proceed further into the desert towards the Deadvlei and Sossusvlei region. Navigating through a section of off-road terrain proves to be effortlessly handled by your capable 4×4 vehicle and skilled guide. The Deadvlei clay pan presents a mesmerizing environment, allowing ample opportunity to fully immerse oneself in the environment and capture stunning photographs. Just a short distance away lies the Sesriem canyon. You can venture into the canyon and explore the formerly flowing river gorge. After an adventurous day, you may return to your campsite to unwind for the remainder of the afternoon and indulge in a tasty dinner in the evening.

Day 3: Namib Desert – Swakopmund
A leisurely beginning to the day starts before embarking on a journey through the Gaub and Kuiseb canyons. The journey is quite picturesque commences and glimpses of the Atlantic Ocean is seen on the horizon. A stop at Walvis Bay allows you to be mesmerised by the flamingos that roam at the lagoon. The journey continues with a spectacular imagine of the desert on your one side and the ocean on the other. Finally, you arrive at Swakopmund. A significant German architectural influence can be observed in many of the town’s buildings, and visitors are encouraged to explore at their own pace. In the evening, there are numerous outstanding dining options available within the town or along the coastal area (optional). There are various options available for your recreational activities, such as a catamaran tour, a desert safari, or a quad bike tour (optional). Alternatively, you may prefer to take a leisurely walk along the beachfront, explore the shops in Swakopmund, and end your day at the highly recommended German bakeries. Day 5: Swakopmund – Skeleton Coast – Damaraland
The day starts with a drive along the Skeleton Coast of Namibia. This unforgiving stretch of coastline has witnessed numerous shipwrecks throughout history that can be viewed on your journey. Upon continuing your journey along the coastline, you will eventually arrive at Cape Cross, where you will see the mesmerizing sight of more than two hundred thousand cape fur seals. A remarkable spectacle! As you continue your journey along the rugged Skeleton Coast, you may experience a sense of seclusion that accompanies this desolate terrain. It is inhospitable and yet, it possesses a unique beauty that is challenging to convey through words and is better perceived. Upon reaching Torra Bay, you will take a detour from the coastal road and enter the Damaraland region. In the afternoon, your journey will lead you to the Malansrus Tented Camp, where you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

Day 6: Damaraland – Ethosha National Park
There is a lot to see and do in the vast area of land known as Damaraland. Choose the attraction that most interests you today. You might choose to go to Twyfelfontein, the sole UNESCO World Heritage Site in Namibia. More than 2,500 rock carvings from between 2,000 and 6,000 years ago are found at the site. Your tour guide is familiar with a spot away from the main tourist attractions where the petroglyphs are still in good condition and can be viewed. Thereafter, a local guide will show you tree trunks that are roughly 260 million years old if you choose to visit the Petrified Forest instead. They have become stone-like after being ossilated. The Welwitschia mirabilis, Namibia’s national plant, is also beautifully displayed at the site. Many of these fascinating and odd-looking desert plants are thought to be more than a thousand years old. After a worthwhile morning, you continue on to the Etosha Safari Camp. As the wildlife highlight of your 10-day Namibia tour, you’ll want to keep the check-in brief heading into Etosha National Park for an afternoon game drive. Try to spot some of the park’s inhabitants by keeping your eyes wide open. You head back to your camp as dusk falls for a delicious dinner.

Day 7: Etosha National Park
The secret to a great safari trip is to start early in the morning. The early hours are cool, and this is when animals are most mobile. The entire day is reserved for you to tour Etosha National Park and get to know the park’s inhabitants. Elephants and lions are frequently seen, and if you’re lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of a hyena, cheetah, or leopard and even the occasional rhino. Nature always has surprises in store, but your guide will help you find animals that you could otherwise have missed. Additionally, you have time to visit the Etosha Pan, also referred to as the “Great White Place” by the Oshiwambo locals. A location where the only sounds are silence is miraculous. A final full day of the safari offers new opportunities to see different game. When you first enter the park, keep an eye out for anything you might have overlooked the day before. The Etosha National Park’s arid terrain causes the animals to congregate at its watering holes, so be sure to keep your eyes open. Your guide will lead you to the wildlife’s favorite watering holes so you can see its magnificence. So relax and take in the wildlife display. D not miss out on the search for some of Etosha’s smaller animals like the warthogs and jackals or even a bat-eared fox or a tenacious honey badger. You leave the Etosha National Park at the Von Lindequist Gate in the east and travel to the Onguma Bush Camp for the night with a wealth of fresh memories to cherish. As you appreciate your dinner, appreciate the stunning view of the camp’s waterhole.

Day 9: Etosha National Park – Waterberg Area
Following a delectable breakfast with a view of the camp’s waterhole, you continue onward toward the Waterberg region. Whilst on your journey, you will stop at the Cheetah Conservation Fund to take a look around the facilities. You will discover more about the efforts made by this nonprofit organization, which is committed to preserving cheetahs in their natural habitats. After the tour, you’ll soon reach the Waterberg Guest Farm, where you’ll stay. The rest of the afternoon is free for you to do as you please; you can choose to laze by the pool or take a short walk around the neighborhood.
