Why book this tour?

The South Africa Walking Tour explores the wetlands, wildlife and sun-kissed beaches of Kwa-Zulu Natal. We cover all the scenic routes such as Pilgrim’s Rest, St. Lucia, the Dundee battlefields and the majestic Drakensberg mountains. A fair degree of walking is involved, so you need to have a good level of fitness. Our guides are well -trained and look forward to taking you on this great South African adventure.

The walking fitness level required:

  • The walks in Blyde Canyon, Swaziland and the Drakensberg will be easy to moderate
  • We walk on good mountain paths so walking shoes / light boots are sufficient
  • Although full days out, the actual walking time is 3-6 hours for 10-22km so a reasonable level of fitness is needed
