The Hoba meteorite is a detour you take as you reach Grootfontein. Approximately 80,000 years ago, it hit the ground and is the largest meteorite known to exist. Enjoy some traditional dancing and singing while participating in an informative walk through the bush. You can make a bow and arrow, a campfire, or make jewellery as you make your way through the bush. Immerse yourself in the San culture on an equal footing and take a break from the world you know. Prior to your first game drive in the national park, you have some time to relax. There is definitely something fascinating about Etosha (‘Great White Place’) due to its diverse wildlife and landscape. There are Acacia trees on the wide-open plains, and there is a large salt pan spanning miles. Many antelope species, elephants, giraffes, lions, and more await you! In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious meal around the campfire as you reflect on the day’s events. Mushara Bush Camp is where you spend the night.

There are a lot of animals and animals of all kinds at the waterholes, especially in the dry months, such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, oryx, impalas, springboks, and with a little luck lions, rhinos, and leopards. Your guide will help you observe the animal and bird behavior as they quench their thirst. Outside the national park, you visit Etosha Village before sunset. While two enjoyable safari days draw to a close, settle in and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

After leaving Etosha National Park in the afternoon, you drive to the nearby Hobatere Lodge. Slowly watching the sun set as you drive through the Hobatere concession area with its beautiful scenery. Women’s bodies are characterized by an intense red color. They dye their hair and protect their skin from the sun by mixing butter fat with ochre powder and wood ash. They also have beautiful jewellery, made from iron, copper, and shells, as well as intricately braided hair. A Himba guide will accompany you on a walk along the Kunene River in the afternoon.
