Tiffendell to reopen

Great news about South Africa’s only ski resort. The long standing issues seem to have been resolved with the sale at aution of the Tiffendell Snow Ski Resort for 5.5 mill Rands. The new owner must feel that he got a bargain as the property allegedly was sold in 2007 for 3 times that amount.
Having personally stayed there, I can definitely recommend it was an awesome experience. The log cabins, highest bar in Africa and unique African setting all make for an holiday you will never forget.
They have stated that it could be 2 years before we see it open but I personally will be making the journey up there from Cape Town when it does.
