Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
In the morning, we depart from the bustling city of Nairobi to ascend the incline to our first stop, a viewpoint overlooking a portion of the extraordinary Great Rift Valley. As we descend into the Rift Valley, we enter Masai territory where these farmers are frequently spotted tending to their livestock on the roadsides. Passing through the town of Narok, we continue our travels, possibly catching a glimpse of some gorgeous wildlife along the way. When we finally arrive at the park gate, we make a turn just before the Reserve Entrance to park at our camp, where we have time to rest up before heading out on our first game drive through the Park. We eventually make our way back to camp for supper and a good night’s sleep.
