Okavango Delta – Gweta

Today we enjoy one final sunrise over the Delta before embarking on a mokoro cruise in search of wildlife. We then meander back to our campsite where we pack up and then continue our travels to Gweta – the perfect base for a sunset outing into the Makgadikgadi Pans.

During rainfall, an abundance of wildlife is drawn to the water-filled pans. The water awakens the dormant fish and aquatic shrimps from beneath the mud. The neighbouring plains also bustle with animals and contain massive concentrations of antelope that attract a broad range of predators.
