Addo Elephant – Knysna / Tsitsikamma Forest

We leave Addo following a delicious breakfast in order to make the best of a beautiful day filled with gorgeous sights and thrilling adventures within the Tsitsikamma forest. Tsitsikamma National Park is a gorgeous coastal reserve, boasting flourishing reefs, colourful coastal scenery, sparkling rivers, lush forests and delicate Fynbos. This area is perfect for hikers and for any lovers of sport. The Park forms the top portion of the incredible Garden Route National Park , resulting in an abundance of stunning plant life.

Upon entrance to the forest, you will be given a range of options to choose from, depending on your energy levels and interests. From boat cruises and canoe adventures to wild reef snorkelling or nature hikes, the forest offers something for everyone. In the early evening we make our way to the marvellous holiday town of Knysna, which is well-known for its never-ending estuary, vibrant café life and delectable seafood. Following a visit to the renowned Bloukrans Bridge where thrill-seekers are able to experience the world’s highest bungee jump, we settle into Knysna for the evening with much time leftover to browse through the stores and markets on the waterfront at our leisure.
