Maun – Divundu – Etosha, Namibia

After crossing the border into Namibia, we will proceed to Divundu, our overnight stop on the Kavango River. Our stay this evening is at a lodge and we enjoy a leisurely boat cruise along the Kavango River.

In the morning, we depart for Etosha National Park’s gates. One of Africa’s finest game parks, Etosha boasts vast salt pans, savannas, and woodland. It is one of the largest parks in Southern Africa, with an area of 18 000 square kilometers. A large dried pan in the middle of the park is known as Etosha, which means “great white area”. As we enter the park and travel the short distance to our overnight rest camp for the night, we will spend the afternoon exploring the park on our first game drive.
